NEW SINGLE RELEASED
Yep, you can now find a new Easter Islanders track on Spotify and Apple Music, and I’m so kind that I’ve even provided a direct link below where you can listen for free.
The new song, The League of Southern Rooum, is an anthemic piece of melodic electronica : upbeat, fast and catchy, it features at least three distinct parts that lesser artists would have made into separate songs. But not Easter Islanders - you get a full five minutes of foot-tapping goodness that shifts and mutates as it goes along.
And as for that title, it comes from the epic and supremely complex colony survival game Rimworld, to which I have been addicted this past year and a half. The League of Southern Rooum was the name of my first colony. Like many a colony in Rimworld, it met with disaster, but I wanted to commemorate them somehow. Yes, you get really attached to your characters in that game.
The striking cover art is a photo I took in Mantua, Italy, a beautiful historic fortified town with a lake on three sides. Highly recommended if you want to get off the main tourist routes and experience something a little cultural.
